Wow! What a welcome sight! My irises make lots of leaves before they bloom. We got up to 74 degrees this afternoon. Now it's down to 43 with a severe thunderstorm on the way with quarter-sized hail. Yep, it's spring! No wait, it is 15 degrees in far western Kansas... and we are likely to have sleet or snow tonight. Gah!

I think this is some kind of miniature iris we got last year. I can also see daffodils sprouting along the bank next to the garage.
