It was a miserably cold and windy day, so we picked Walt up and went directly to Tim Horton's. After nearly 2 hours of sandwiches, do-nuts, coffee, and stories, we went to WalMart for necessities. Then we went to his room, saw his room mate, nosed around the dorm, then hiked the path he takes to his classes. No wonder he is so thin. Apart from not eating enough, walking that much several times a day would be grueling. Even I would be skinny.

ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be neat to be young and sure enough of yourself that you could wear whatever outlandish things you wanted? The most I can do is plaid flannel pajama pants with snow boots while walking the driveway. Then I just end up looking like the suicidal mom in About A Boy.
