I chatted with Margaret last night while waiting for Rusty to do his business. I was miserably cold, so really appreciated hearing her talk about how warm it was there. They even had the AC on. Mother told me the same thing. I think it's the wind that bothers me the most now--I hate it. There's no way I could live in Kansas, Sharon.
I wish I could capture how the sunlight beaming down makes the valley light up in a pale green mist, and why that is.
I guess it is sort of like living next to a train track. You get used to it, and then the absence of it strikes you odd. Hey, it's not windy today! What's up with that?
ReplyDeleteI couldn't live in Seattle, with the dreary skies. The first time I was there the weather was perfect for 3 days. The second time, we never saw the sun.
