Last Night's Sunset

I chatted with Margaret last night while waiting for Rusty to do his business. I was miserably cold, so really appreciated hearing her talk about how warm it was there.  They even had the AC on. Mother told me the same thing. I think it's the wind that bothers me the most now--I hate it. There's no way I could live in Kansas, Sharon.
I wish I could capture how the sunlight beaming down makes the valley light up in a pale green mist, and why that is.

  1. I guess it is sort of like living next to a train track. You get used to it, and then the absence of it strikes you odd. Hey, it's not windy today! What's up with that?

I couldn't live in Seattle, with the dreary skies. The first time I was there the weather was perfect for 3 days. The second time, we never saw the sun.
