Rain Lilies
Grandma G gave these to us a couple weeks ago. She calls them rain lilies; they're divisions from some her own mother had years ago. It's been raining for two days, and they bloomed.
I think those are spiderworts instead of rain lilies. Mother had them on the side of the garage on Ryson. We used to squeeze the blossoms after they finished blooming, and would get purple stains on our fingers.
And I am having a very hard time proving I am not a robot! I have to go thru 4 or 5 to find one I can read!
That's the name. Thanks. Isn't it strange--I was thinking of Ryson a couple days ago, trying to picture myself walking all the way around the house and all the plants there.
