Sunflowers

In the garden
I thought these were the fuzzy, teddy-bear variety, but they are the Mexican type

Early evening haziness

    1. It's odd, because we're now having a hot spell. The sun actually feels hot on my skin, something I haven't felt in a long time. Even more weird, it's only 77 degrees.

  2. "Sunshine, on my shoulders...." I remember what a big fan you were.

  3. I went away for 4 days and all the sunflowers here are blooming now.

    1. Was Chicago a big, smelly town?

    2. We flew into O'Hare, then drove about 45 min outside of town. Aunt Polly lives in Lisle, sort of on the way to Naperville,in a very nice area. It had lots of trees, Victorian houses, lots of shopping, and was very scenic. I wouldn't mind living there except for the winters!
