Possibly a flowering quince? Not sure though. Maybe google it. I had a shrub I was looking for & did a search with the description & found it. The one I was looking for was the Yesterday Today & Tomorrow shrub.
This is down in the grassy spot by the spring, isn't it? I have a photo of it but there is a tree in the way. I am voting for a cherry tree. I don't know if there are any apple trees that bloom pink, but maybe a crab apple. Have you asked Aunt Dot?

I have a flowering quince. Ours is a shorter bush and is quite thorny. I'll email you a photo of it...

Hmm. Looks like a bush growing by an old well with a fellow in the background. No idea what the bush is, but it sure is pretty.

Hi! Not sure about the cement thing, but the fellow says he sure feels old.
